About a history of Kakejiku (Hanging Scrolls)

Japanese Kakejiku (掛け軸/hanging scroll) was originally introduced to Japan from China about 1,500 years ago(Heian Period), initially for the purpose of venerating Buddhist paintings. Through the development of the tea ceremony and other cultural practices, a kakejiku evolved into a unique and refined traditional Japanese art. The paintings on these scrolls represent the essence of Japanese aesthetics, embodying the concept of "Wabi-Sabi", sense of beauty of Japanese "Zen" and elevating them to sophisticated works of art.
Every step in the creation of a kakejiku is meticulously performed by skilled artisans certified as the highest-level Master Craftsmen by the national certification. They craft each kakejiku with heartfelt dedication. Their skill for making kakejiku have been passed down and refined over approximately 1,500 years, with the intention of preserving and transmitting the beauty of the artwork to future generations.
Properly cared for, a kakejiku can be enjoyed not just for five or ten years, but for centuries, allowing it to be cherished by successive generations.

About Sensu (Folding Fans)

Japanese Sensu(扇子/ folding fans), have been cherished in Japan since ancient times as elegant tools for keeping a person cool.
Each fan is handmade by skilled artisans using traditional processes and methods, carefully inserting each rib into the fan surface one by one.
Combining functionality with beauty, sensu are more than just items for cooling yourselves; they are also symbols of Japanese culture that can be appreciated for their aesthetic appeal.

STEINS;GATE

"STEINS;GATE" is a game released in October 2009, planned and produced by Chiyomaru Shikura. It is the second installment in the "Science Adventure Series," an SF suspense series with the concept of 99% science and 1% fantasy, incorporating real scientific phenomena into its narrative structure. The game has garnered a large following not only in Japan but also overseas due to its intricate story development and emotionally impactful character portrayal.
